Ici-Bas plot

At the end of the occupation in 1943, Sister Luce, a devoted nun, is a nurse at the hospital in Perigueux. She meets the chaplain Martial. He is deeply shaken in his faith and his life is at loggerheads. However, Sister Luce, who sees her love for Christ as her ideal, begins to harbor more and more passionate feelings for him. She eventually leaves the monastery. But she soon runs into the walls of reality and passion. Sister Luce feels betrayed and abandoned by humanity and God.
