Ichiban Utsukushî Natsu plot

Naomi is an urban, rebellious teenager who is sent to her aunt in the Japanese countryside after her parents' divorce. First she helps in her aunt's restaurant, but this doesn't work. Auntie says Naomi should go see old Mrs. Koide for a while. This woman is very lonely and a good friend of the family. At first Naomi doesn't like it, but gradually she thaws and even starts the long bike ride to the old woman on her own. The old woman used to be an actress and old photos reveal that she was very beautiful. Naomi develops a lot of respect for the old woman. And Naomi is also respected by Mrs. Koide. They drink beer together and exchange stories. Despite the generation gap, the women have a lot in common. Unbeknownst to Naomi, she learns wise life lessons from the old woman and matures.
