Ich Werde Dich auf Händen Tragen plot

The pianist Ines becomes engaged to the wealthy art dealer and widower Rudolf Asmus. She becomes his wife and she moves to his villa near Rome. There she is exposed to the hatred of the nanny Anne and Rudolf's little daughter Nesi. Anne instilled in the girl an idolatrous love for her late mother. The annoyances pile up and when Ines, after a new confrontation with Anne, dismisses her, this makes Nesi very sad.
