Hye-Hwa works as a veterinary assistant and is always busy rescuing animals. When she one day tries to save a dog, she comes face to face with Han-Soo, her great love from five years ago. However, Hye-Hwa then became pregnant at the age of eighteen and just as she and Han-Soo were planning to get married, he disappeared to Canada. When Hye-Hwa recovered from a difficult birth, her mother sat at her bedside and told her that her baby had already died as a result of cardiac arrest. Han-Soo now suddenly stands in front of her and says that the baby is not dead, but was adopted by others.
