"Love is blind."

Durga (Amisha Patel), a young girl, has been blind since birth. She helps her father make buda statues. When her father dies, Durga and her mother are left alone. One day, Durga is involved in an accident, from which she is rescued in the nick of time by a young man named Babu. Both fall madly in love with each other and want to get married. Rana, one of Durga's drops, is also in love with her and out of jealousy he kills her mother and Babu. An embittered Durga is left behind, undergoing eye surgery from Dr. Prasad and regains sight. dr. Prasad feels responsible for Durga and takes her to Switzerland where he lives. In Switzerland, Durga meets the young and wealthy multi-millionaire, Raj. Raj manages to rid Durga of her sorrow and bitter thoughts and then win her over to him. It turns out that the past no longer haunts Durga and she is all set to get engaged to Raj. Raj's friend, Rohit, missing in India, has been found and is present at the engagement party. Rohit's presence makes Durga feel like Babu is back. But how can a young woman who has been blind know that the love of her life has returned without ever seeing him?
