Hsi Nou Ai Le plot
An omnibus film of four historical ghost stories. 'Joy' tells the story of a naive monk who wants to write in seclusion, but is constantly visited by a seductive female ghost. In 'Anger', a remote inn becomes the site of a showdown between political schemers, avengers and vagabonds. In 'Sadness' a man visits the house where his family died and finally 'Happiness' tells the story of a fisherman who only manages to catch fish again after encountering a ghost, who in return wants to take the fisherman's daughter. .
