House of Others plot
A young family moves into a large house in a remote village. The grand view from the mountain, the tranquility and the lemon grove outside the window all seem idyllic, but appearances are deceiving. This is Abkhazia in the early 1990s, shortly after a bitter and bloody war that sparked enmity between Georgians and Abkhazians. Tens of thousands of Georgians have been forced to leave their homes, allowing others to occupy their empty homes, to live peacefully and happily in another's home.
