Hotaru plot
Hideji Yamaoka was a kamikaze pilot who survived World War II by an involuntary landing. Even after working as a fisherman in Kumamoto for decades, he remains reluctant to talk about this time, especially in front of a pushy reporter, who sees a beautiful story in this episode of Hideji's life. Then a number of things happen that make him have to reconsider his past.
