Hors d'Haleine plot
At first glance, Emma, with her husband, a great job and a luxurious home, lives a perfect life. Until she ends up in hospital, terrified and covered in bruises. She does not give a reason for this, after which she is referred to a women's shelter. After a while, she opens up and makes friends with the other women. They have all suffered violence and together they try to regain their self-esteem and independence.
