Hans Memling (Roland Drew), a young intellectual, patriotic German, is a secret opponent of the Nazi regime. With the help of Gustav Schultz (John Ellis), The Spiritual Pommer (Frederick Giermann), Anna Wahl (Greta Granstedt) and others, he collects information from foreign radio stations and distributes it throughout Germany using an underground movement.
