Himawari to Koinu no Nanokakan plot
Shiba Inu female Himawari is abandoned by her owners. She gives birth to three puppies and because of her strong survival instinct she manages to keep them and herself alive for a week before she is found and transferred to an animal shelter. If no one comes to claim a pet in Japan within a week, the animal is put to sleep according to the procedure. Himawari and her puppies are all but rescued now.
