Hikaru Onna plot

Provincial Sensaku travels from Hokkaido to Tokyo in search of his fiancée Kuriko. His search leads him to a dark place in the city where shadowy figures trade in misery and pleasure. He discovers that Kuriko is deeply in love with a violent and corrupt club owner. He also meets Yoshino, a pop singer who dreams of one day becoming an opera singer.
