Het Hele Verhaal plot

13-year-old Ashraf (13) tells his friend Hamid about his family history. His grandmother, the wife of one of the first Moroccan migrants in the Netherlands, was an outsider in her village. Parallel to this, another family history unfolds, that of the traditional Dutch supermarket manager Johan. But what do those two stories have in common?
