Het Glinsterend Pantser plot

The film is based on Simon Vestdijk's novel of the same name, in which an author becomes fascinated by the behavior of his old childhood friend, a celebrated conductor. He decides to write a book about it. With his charismatic appearance and beautiful music, the conductor seduces women. But when they get too close, he knocks them off in a sudden fit of rage. In an obsessive search for his friend's motivations, the writer enlists another childhood friend and abuses women to lure the conductor out of his tent.
