Her Fighting Chance plot

Corporal Blake is sent to arrest François Breault's murderer. Everything points to Jan Thoreau as the culprit. Blake arrives at Thoreau's cabin while he is away and is greeted by his wife Marie. Posing as her husband's friend, Blake discovers that Thoreau and Breault had an argument shortly before the murder.
