Hell in the Heavens plot

During World War I, American top pilot Lieutenant Steve Warner leads a group of replacements for the French Lafayette Escadrille. Captain André De Laage is in charge, but many of his pilots have been killed by a German pilot named Baron Kurt von Hagen. Steve wants to avenge the fallen, but also falls in love with Aimee, a French girl.
