Heilige Jeanne plot

Dutch TV adaptation of the famous play 'Saint Joan' by Nobel Prize winner George Bernard Shaw. Josine van Dalsum stars as the impetuous Lorraine peasant's daughter who could not read and write, but had the pretense to liberate France from the English occupiers in 1430 and to have Crown Prince Charles VII, the Dauphin, crowned as king. A pursuit that, after an endless process, led to her being burned at the stake.
