Hazal plot

A love story set in a primitive Anatools mountain village where entrenched traditions hinder individual development. Hazal, a young woman - after the disappearance of her husband, who has fled to the city - has to reconcile with his younger brother because his mother wants to see her gender continued. The old woman receives the support of the (blind) Islamic council of the sages. But Hazal falls in love with another man and a tragic ending is inevitable.
