Hart am Wind plot

The electrician Peter Drews is a sergeant at a Baltic shipyard. His men are among the most reliable and diligent workers on the site. But motivation always suffers more and more from Peter's self-love and lust for power: in important matters, he is the one who always makes the decisions for everyone. Even his girlfriend Brigitte, who is also part of his brigade, finds it increasingly difficult to understand his behaviour. For example, Peter decides for the entire group that they must all join the navy together, because he himself has received his summons. While Peter enlists with four men, Brigitte, separated from Peter by the dispute, takes charge of the other brigade. While working on the ship where Peter is stationed, she meets the charming Lieutenant Asmus.
