Haonan Haonu plot
"She has the role of another lifetime."
In the film, an actress rehearses her role for the film Good Men, Good Women, which is about the resistance against the Japanese occupation of China in the 1940s and the nationalist rule of Taiwan in the 1950s, respectively. The actress identifies with the resistance heroes from this film. In addition, she receives anonymous faxes with pages from her stolen diary. These faxes recall her past as a nightclub singer and gangster sweetheart. The storylines from the present, past and film gradually become clear in the film. These storylines are intertwined in the mind of the actress.
