Hanaan plot

Stas is a third-generation young Korean boy in Uzbekistan. Under Stalin, Stas's grandparents were deported from the Far East to the Soviet Empire. He and his friends Kasoy, Shin and Said hang out in the garage where Stas works. They use heroin for the first time and then learn that Kasoy's brother has been attacked by Uzbek gang members. Kasoy seeks revenge, but is killed by gang leader Maha. Six years later, Stas has become a detective, Said is a drug addict and Shin is studying in Korea. Stas has not forgotten his Korean origins and wonders if he should also go back to Korea.
