Hammarskjöld plot

In the year 1961, the Cold War is still in full swing. The diplomat and economist Dag Hammarskjöld has worked for many years as Secretary-General of the United Nations. He takes it upon himself to bring peace to Africa. When blue helmets are murdered in Congo, he devises a different and more drastic way to restore peace. He goes on a war mission with the UN troops. In a last-ditch effort at a truce, he boards a plane to negotiate, knowing full well that he is risking his life.
