Nick Pogli is the slinger in a trapeze company that also includes Greta Nelson. Nick loves her. Tony, the acrobat in the party, is his enemy because Greta seems to prefer him. Nick then fails to catch Tony at a performance and he falls deadly. Newcomer Ned Lee reports for the next performance. Meanwhile, Greta discovers that Nick has purposely dropped Tony and, out of fear, takes refuge with Ned, whom she falls in love with. She stays with the company to protect Ned from the jealous Nick.
