"Thomas H. Ince's "Hail The Woman" is a tribute to life's achievements, a message of hope to life's failures."
Oliver Beresford is a stern, puritanical, uncompromisingly rigid father. When scandalous stories surface about his daughter Judith, he immediately banishes her from his home rather than determine whether the stories are true. Her brother David, a cowardly outcast, has secretly married and fathered a child, then abandoned her. Judith cares for the baby and finds a way to restore her family through her love for the child.
