Guru Dakshina plot
Jayanta comes from a poor family. He can sing well and his career eventually takes him to Calcutta, where he becomes famous and earns a lot of money. Jayanta falls in love with Rupa, the daughter of a wealthy businessman. The latter, however, turns out to be corrupt and that puts Jayanta in trouble.
