"When all hope is lost, can the lost find hope?"

Pete is in a hotel room and plans to commit a murder. In the room he meets Gideon, the hotel bible. Gideon doesn't go out very often, he is after all a bible, but on the other hand he has a lot to tell. But Pete has heard it all before and has no qualms about contradicting the word of God.
