Greshnyye Apostoly Lyubvi plot
The only feature film in the history of Russian cinema about the tragic fate of the Roma during the Second World War. A caravan is ambushed by German soldiers. Many lose their lives. The survivors of the massacre are rounded up and imprisoned in a camp. There, the Roma put pressure on their leader (Dufunya Vishnevsky): they want to ambush the guards and escape. However, the leader places more value on non-violence, one of the most important gypsy values. Moreover, he does not want to risk Roma lives. He declares - hoping for a miracle - that the Roma should never kill, not even those who hold them captive.
