Gran Premio plot

The ex-owner of an important stable for purebred horses has suffered a serious financial loss and now lives a modest life with his two daughters. One day his eldest daughter sees a beautiful mare at a horse auction and she begs her father to buy that horse with his remaining money. She is so tenacious that the kind man succumbs to her wish. After some time, the mare gives birth to a thoroughbred foal that becomes the inseparable companion of his youngest daughter. The beautiful foal gives the man new hope; he devotes much of his time to breeding and training the magnificent animal. Soon the horse makes a name for itself and becomes a favorite for the upcoming Grand Prix. Unfortunately, a cunning businessman shows up and, on the eve of the competition, forces the horse breeder to sell the animal.
