The first part of the film I actually found quite boring, but after the appearance of the beautiful Ludivine Sagnier (she could of course also be naked) it became more fun with the highlight of course being the dance to the music of Luv' but then in a German version. The four main actors (no more and no less) also enjoyed it very much. I thought the ending was a bit weird. It was nice to see Anna Levine again with her bazookas.

Francois Ozon always provides something surprising in his films. That's why it's just a little bit different. I like that. I haven't actually seen a disappointing film of his. This is the first. Half the film is spent watching two men arguing, who apparently have so much fun together in bed. Well, sorry, I can't stand that.

Things get a bit better when Ludivine Sagnier appears on the scene. In full regalia, lying with her tits up. Later we see her riding herself nicely. But that won't save a film. Then there's the Junge Werther/Faust/Gretchen theme, which Ozon undoubtedly has a purpose for, but I missed it. Oh yes, a converted transvestite is also involved, beautiful and tragic. It's like opera. But give me another Ozon.

A peculiar film by Ozon about amorous relationships, from the exciting sexual part with his fantasies to the less romantic daily routine. After a good 80 minutes the film is over and that is more than enough. The young, somewhat naive submissive Franz is central. His relationship with the experienced Leopold is more based on lust. There seems to be little concern or respect.

It doesn't stop him from reconnecting with his young love and pretty Anna, played by Ludivine Sagnier. She is more present with bare breasts than without. When Leopold's old love also turns up, a kind of four-way relationship arises, but the desire is not very evenly distributed.

A rather bizarre strange film in which nothing, but at the same time everything happens. Not Ozon's best work, somewhat banal and often filmed in the same room (or apartment). Admittedly one from 2000, but it could have been 20 years older.
