"The Dream That United Our Nation"
When the British Indian hockey team wins gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, the players, despite their big win, become extremely aware that their unabashed joy is hindered by the fact that their country has been colonized. Assistant manager Tapan makes it his goal to return to the arena as a free man. In the years that follow, India is tormented by enormous catastrophes. When the world is engulfed by World War II, a darkness casts over the world leading to the cancellation of two Olympic Games.
