Goin' Down the Road plot

Two friends travel from Nova Scotia to Toronto in hopes of finding a better life. They fly from one job to another. From a bottling plant to a car wash and from a bowling alley to a job as a newspaper deliverer. Meanwhile, they also enjoy the big city nightlife. They soon find out that their past life wasn't so bad after all.
