Glücksucher plot

The story is about an author in his forties who is going through a midlife crisis. He decides to leave his wife and children behind and continue pioneering alone. He meets a woman who is married to a rich man who doesn't care about her. She does want to start a new life and the writer seems like the right man. In the meantime he had left Germany for a Belgian seaside resort to think about everything. When the woman arrives, he has decided to return home, because East, West, home is best.
