Gitmek plot
Ayça is a Turkish actress living in Istanbul. On a film set in western Turkey, she meets Hama Ali, a Kurdish actor. The two fall in love while shooting a movie. After the shoot, Ayça returns to Istanbul and Hama has to return to his hometown in northern Iraq. They continue their relationship over the telephone and letters as America prepares to invade Iraq, which does not facilitate communication. Ayça can no longer bear the distance between them and decides to travel to northern Iraq. But entering a country at war proves to be as difficult as leaving it.
