Gibier de Potence plot

On his return from the war, Marceau Le Guern looks back on his past. Raised in an orphanage run by Dominican brothers, he fell into misery when he left it. His only asset was that he looked good. This did not escape the attention of the depraved Mrs. Alice, who persuaded him to have nude photos taken and then sell them to lonely elderly ladies. Marceau had also worked as a gigolo before the war, but imprisonment ended his lucrative business. Now he wants to start a new life, especially because he has found true love with Dominique, an honest young woman. However, when Alice finds out about this, a fierce argument ensues.
