Habib's health deteriorates, and he comes into contact with Ahmed, his 15-year-old son from a previous marriage. Habib's political past during the dictatorship in Tunisia has a dangerous influence on his present as he goes through a crisis related to what he experienced before and after the revolution. Both Habib and Ahmed find themselves in a chaotic situation for which they are not prepared. Ahmed takes care of his stepfather while also trying to protect Habib.
