Getting Out of Rhode Island plot

Morgan Stipe is not a real filmmaker. He's a selfish, small-town Rhode Island dreamer obsessed with Hollywood stardom and will do anything to achieve it. He starts a production company that is completely dependent on the work of others. His childhood friend Quinley Blais assists the perverted Morgan with his film technical know-how, but doesn't really want that at all. The relationship with Mel Cafferty, Morgan's girlfriend, is also gradually getting into trouble.
