Geschwader Fledermaus plot

An American squadron led by the former General Lee supports the French colonial army in Vietnam for a large payment. Originally he was only going to work for the wounded, but as the advances of the Vietnamese Liberation Army put the French more and more in distress, they also carry out flights with ammunition, for much more money and in violation of international law. Pilot Bryk refuses to fly any more, the secretary Flessy becomes the lover of the scrupulous general, after her other sweethearts one by one do not return from the battle and the rest of the squadron is shot down during one such ammunition flight. In the camp, the French army shows up to arrest the interpreter Thao for espionage activities. Bryk saves her and flees with her to the liberated part of Vietnam.
