Géographie Humaine plot

Géographie humaine, which forms a diptych together with Gare du Nord, was shot entirely in the confusingly large Gare du Nord train station in Paris. The filmmaker was not primarily interested in the building or in the trains that arrive and depart from it, but in the people who reside there. Those people usually don't leave or arrive, but they stay there almost permanently as if it were a huge village square.
