Gentle Julia plot
"Jane's In Her Glory In This Famous Story! The "Meanie" of "Bright Eyes" is cupid's biggest helper and turns the whole town topsy-turvy!"
After a Sunday morning church service in the small town of Atwater, many unmarried male churchgoers gather around Julia, the philandering daughter of local banker Atwater. Young Albert Crum, whose manners and manner of speaking suggest he had an aristocratic upbringing, asks Julia to take him for a ride in his car. Julia's cousin Florence hates Crum because he calls her "funny face." Florence therefore encourages the shy and clumsy journalist Noble Dill to court Julia.
