The heavily pregnant Brigitte witnesses the goodbye kiss between her husband Valentin and his childhood sweetheart Andrea. After a banging fight and a lot of stress, the contractions suddenly start that same evening. Brigitte is at her wits' end and is forced to enlist Andrea's help. After all, she is the only available midwife in the vicinity.
