Gamperaliya plot

Piyal is hired as a private English teacher for Nanda. However, when the two fall in love, there is a problem because Piyal is of a lower class. Nanda's parents therefore force her to marry Jinadasa. When the economy deteriorates in Sri Lanka, Jinadasa suddenly falls into disarray.
