"God forgives... will you?"
Bob Collins has it all together: a lovely wife, two children and, together with his younger brother Seth, he is about to open an antique shop. Jake Knight is a man with a drinking problem and boss Frank tries to keep him on the right path, but in vain. He becomes involved in a hate crime committed by brothers Snake and Matty Cain, the local sheriff's nephews, in which Bob's family is killed and Bob is left broken. Then suddenly everything changes when Puck, Jake's daughter, and Bay, Seth's son, meet. They go fishing and a close bond develops between the two.
