Frou-Frou plot
During the first part of the twentieth century, a young talented woman becomes a popular singer under the name of "Frou-Frou". After a disappointment in love, she goes to live in Russia for several years. When she returns to France, she meets a painter who commits suicide shortly afterwards. She decides to raise his daughter further because she loved that man.
