Freak City plot

After her grandmother's death, MS patient Ruth ends up in the Lewellyn Nursing Center, which she nicknames Freak City. The first friend she makes is Lenny, a patient who is more troubled by his mother than his blindness. Cal, an intelligent schizophrenic, tries to win her heart.
