Frau Fährt, Mann Schläft - Zeitreisen: Die Gegenwart plot

Dentist Sue and her husband Anton, a professor, lead normal lives; they have a good career and four children. Until their 18-year-old son Thomas has a breakdown, which throws the stability of the family out of balance. The other children, nearing adulthood, move on, leaving Sue and Anton on their own. Sue falls in love with another man, and Anton's mistress is pregnant with him. When Thomas dies, Sue realizes it can't go on like this; she needs to improve her life.
