Francis of Assisi plot
"The story of a lusty, fighting young adventurer who exchanged his sword for a cross"
Early 14th century. As a young man, Francis likes women and fun. He and his new friend Paolo go to battle with the troops Assisi sends to Sicily. During the journey, however, he hears a voice that urges him to return and search for his true calling. However, on his return to Assisi, he is handcuffed as a deserter and nearly dies.
