Forbidden Cargo plot

A vivacious young woman, known only as Captain Joe, is the captain of a rum-smuggling ship that operates between the Bahamas and the United States. Jerry Burke, a Secret Service agent sent to the Bahamas to stop this illegal rum trade, meets and falls in love with Captain Joe, known as Peggy O'Day, which draws the antipathy of Pietro, Peggy's first mate. Pietro later learns that Jerry is a government agent and kidnaps him and hides him on Peggy's boat.
