For the Love of My Child: The Anissa Ayala Story plot

Teen Anissa Ayala (Teresa Dispina) is told by the doctor (Robin Thomas) that she has leukemia and is doomed. She decides not to resign herself to her fate, but to adopt a combative attitude. Her mother Mary (Priscilla Lopez) wants to have a baby in order to conceive a donor and to cure her daughter with the help of a bone marrow transplant. The media gets wind of her intentions and tries to screw up her noble plan, but Mary doesn't give up easily.
