Fjord plot
The couple Mihai and Lisbet exchange Romania for Norway with their five children. They have just lost Mihai's parents, and their choice is partly determined by the proximity of Lisbet's family. They settle in a small coastal town where they get along well with their neighbors, the Halberg family. When their daughter Elia appears at school with bruises, suspicions arise regarding the family's strict religious upbringing.
