Faubourg Montmartre plot
In the 1930s, the two Gentilhomme sisters live together in Montmartre. Céline is hardly serious and she would like to drag the good Ginette into her wantonness. But Ginette refuses, she wants to live her life honestly. Her sister is oblivious to the dangers of the street and the world of prostitution, which is often the fate of her peers.
